Prior to the opening of 360 Risk Partners, Bret was a VP of Commercial Insurance for a top 10 international brokerage where he was a top producing broker and took a quick interest to alternative market solutions. Bret’s extensive experience working in the commercial insurance industry has been the foundation on which he has created custom, one-off solutions that have been responsible for helping California businesses recapture millions of premium dollars. This knowledge and expertise was crucial in building the foundation of 360 Risk Partners. His achievements, such as receiving recognition as an RWCS and CAWC designee, Inc. 5000 recognition, and the Entrepreneur Magazine 360 Award, as well as being a 40 Under 40 Winner, have earned him esteem as a leader in the Workers’ Compensation industry.
Outside of work, Bret is married to his wife Jen, and they have two boys, Maverick and Hudson. The family lives in Sacramento with their two dogs, Sammy (a Golden Doodle) and Goose (a Doberman Pinscher). Bret is actively involved in his sons’ lives, coaching their soccer and basketball teams. He describes himself as a country boy at heart living in the city. Bret is an avid car enthusiast, enjoys archery, and is well-versed in various firearms trainings and courses.
